They keep their promise, there are no dishes with bananas. So far so good.
In the middle of beautiful Kreuzberg on a summer evening in May, we sat down at a table outside the no bananas to try our way through the menu of the Turkish restaurant’s.
So various meze ended up on our table, for example the Spinat Manti and Börekitas. The presentation of the dishes was already promising, served in beautiful bowls and plates, some of which were reminiscent of the grandparents‘ service.

But now to the individual dishes: The Tomatensalat and the Artischocken Burrata were a dream. The individual ingredients of the dishes were delicately seasoned and harmonized perfectly. The green tomatoes were particularly convincing – normally you sort out the green peppers and green tomatoes first when cooking (they are always so bitter) – definitely eat them here – they make the tomato salad a complete success.
Regarding the Girit Ezme, a cold cheese cream with pistachios (or optionally with walnuts), I would like to quote Nicole: “I want to indulge in this cheese” – so do you have any questions? Super creamy, super intense taste – just great!
Unfortunately, the Börekitas couldn’t convince us that much – they were nice and smoky and had a particularly fine puff pastry – but the taste was a bit bland, especially in comparison to the other dishes.
Another highlight were the Spinat Manti (small filled dumplings) – nice and crispy and filled with healthy and delicious spinach.

Since our visit together, each of us has been to no bananas several more times, we think that speaks for itself!
Have fun and enjoy your meal!
